Own the Off Season 2026

Reading Time: 2mins

Last winter, I ran the first ever Own the Off Season program. A small group of six guys who showed up every Friday morning at 6am to lift heavy, get stronger, and train hard during the winter off season.

It ended up being one of my favorite parts of the year.
The energy, the consistency, and the camaraderie in that group were incredible.

The focus was simple: build strength that carries into spring racing season. The guys loved pushing for personal bests in the weight room while knowing a PT was watching their form and helping them get the most out of each lift.

Last year, the six spots sold out the same morning registration opened. There were some guys who got on the wait list but ultimately were unable to join. Space is limited in this program due to my capacity to orchestrate the workouts and the space these workouts happen in.

This year I’m planning to do 2 small groups. One early morning (6am Fridays, same as last year) and one evening during the week. Or maybe another morning on a different day. Not sure honestly. Still tinkering.

If you’re a male runner and you want to focus on real strength training this winter, reply to this email and I’ll add you to my list of interested runners.

You’re not committing to anything yet. Just getting first access to updates and sign-up info when it’s ready.

Own the Off Season 2026 starts soon. Are you in?
