Reading Time: 1mins

This past Friday, I had the opportunity to speak at the Bank of America tower for a group of Chicago Marathon charity runners.

With the Chicago marathon right around the corner, the only topic that seemed appropriate was tapering.

What is a taper? Why do we do it? What is actually going on in our bodies when we taper? And how do we stay sane when running less makes us go crazy!?

Presenting to Chicago Marathon runners in the Bank of America tower in Chicago!
For those of you who don’t know, the setting and timing of this presentation is REALLY cool. Bank of America hosts the Chicago Marathon and they are having their 47th race this year.

This running related presentation was given in the Bank of America tower, in Chicago, to Chicago Marathon runners, two weeks ahead of the marathon. WOW!
