Leaning From Your Ankles
Take a look at Michael Look at that forward lean Everything about that image tells us he should be falling FORWARDS Without Hollywood magic, if you leaned forwards like this, you’d fall forwards Or at least catch yourself with a step forward with one of your legs ( <- foreshadowing)
Try to lean like Michael right now Feel how your weight shifts forwards How your body naturally wants to go forwards and how you have to catch yourself if you shift too far You can utilize this principle while you RUN Think about how, when you try the ankle lean, your reaction is to catch yourself forwards with a step What if you kept that lean, and kept taking steps? And what if you leant forwards and kept stepping fast enough for your to build up a nice little jog? Now you’re leaning from your ankles Happy runnin–
