Race Day Recap

Reading Time: 1mins

This past Sunday, we had the joy of participating in one of Evanston’s most meaningful community events: The Race Against Hate. Thousands of runners came together to move for a cause, celebrate Father’s Day, and soak up the summer sunshine.

Valiant Physical Therapy had a booth at the vendor fair, and we loved seeing so many familiar faces swing by! I brought along two very special people: my wife (always my biggest supporter) and Dr. Kyle, our newest team member.

For many of you, this was your first chance to meet him in person. He’s already off to a great start, and I’m excited for the impact he’ll have on our local running community.

We also raffled off a $150 gift card to Road Runner Sports—basically a new pair of running shoes—and we’re happy to announce that David Citterman was the lucky winner! 🎉 (We’ve reached out directly to deliver the prize.)

David Citterman won the $150 Road Runner Sports giftcard!

Being out there reminded me why I love what I do. There’s something powerful about seeing thousands runners getting out there with friends and family on a sunny day. Whether you ran, cheered, or just came for the good vibes, thank you for being part of this beautiful tradition.

Here’s to more races, more movement, and more ways to keep showing up for each other.

Your best is yet to come!

Dr. Michael
